Response to Intervention (RTI) is a school-based program that uses the Tiered model to Help Students succeed Academically. RTI uses data to identify students at risk for learning difficulties and provides early support.

RTI tracks student progress to ensure they are responding to Interventions while adjusting the Intensity and type of intervention based on how well a student Responds.

RTI uses research-based interventions and differentiated curriculum to improve the quality of instruction.

RTI can help reduce the number of students referred for Special Education.

RTI is based on the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (DEA) and is designed to help all students, including those with disabilities.
